Before and during the pandemic, Epiroc made several strategically significant acquisitions, but COVID restrictions prevented them from showcasing their new portfolio in person. Post-COVID, the assignment was clear: create a customer event that not only communicates Epiroc’s new integrated solution but also solidifies their position as the front­-runner in the future of mining.

Since 2011, Richard Kennett and Bright Blue have collaborated with Atlas Copco/Epiroc to create exceptional global leadership events. In 2023, we embraced a new challenge: elevate Epiroc’s customer event to highlight their groundbreaking integrated solution based on automation, digitalization, electrification, and sustainability.

With several key acquisitions and advancements, Epiroc had been unable to showcase their expanded portfolio in person due to pandemic restrictions. Post-Covid, the assignment was clear: create a customer event that not only communicated Epiroc’s new integrated solution but also reinforced their leadership in the future of mining.

In close partnership with Epiroc and Lebowski Agency, Bright Blue produced the Epiroc World Expo 2023—an immersive, high-energy experience designed to captivate and inform. The event unfolded across three dynamic stages: the Conference, setting the context, the Expo, where the integrated solutions came to life; and the Evening Programs, providing opportunities for networking, discussion and entertainment.

Bright Blue led the strategic development of the event platform, shaping conference and expo areas and curating evening programs. The goal was to clarify how Epiroc’s recent acquisitions enhance its integrated portfolio, and to demonstrate their significance for mining’s future.

Every detail was crafted to deepen customer understanding of Epiroc’s new offerings, ultimately reinforcing the core message: Epiroc provides the industry’s best-integrated solution and is the preferred partner for mining’s future.

The Result: The Epiroc World Expo 2023 was a landmark event. Customers left with a clear understanding of Epiroc’s acquisitions and how these fit into a cohesive, industry-leading portfolio. Epiroc solidified its position as the go-to partner in Automation, Digitalization, Electrification, and Sustainability, driving the future of mining forward.
