Epiroc explores their vision in a global leadership broadcast.

This two-day digital summit for 600 leaders worldwide featured live broadcasts aired twice daily for multiple time zones. Participants engaged in studio presentations, remote interviews, interactive discussions, and break-out sessions, all enhanced by live-rendered augmented reality and virtual lighting. With Epiroc Days, Epiroc truly brought their vision ‘Dare to think new’ to life.

In June 2021, Epiroc hosted Epiroc Days, a digital event that brought together the company’s leaders from around the world to explore the dynamics of its vision and strategic implications.

The two-day digital summit featured live broadcasts aired twice daily for multiple time zones. Participants engaged in studio presentations, remote interviews, interactive discussions, break-out sessions and a unique afterwork-concept for day two.

The event was produced in a live TV-style format from a custom-built, fully branded studio. The set featured a hexagonal stage with an expansive LED XR screen, creating an immersive virtual space. Moderated by renowned Swedish news anchor Sofia Sjöström, we collaborated with top-tier TV and AR professionals to elevate the production well beyond typical digital meetings.

The integration of augmented reality brought the production to life, perfectly aligning with the event’s key messages. Interviews were enriched with interactive on-air graphics, live polls, and other engaging elements, while also rendering 3D AR models of Epiroc’s machines live on stage. Our lighting designer synced virtual lighting with the physical environment to elevate the visual impact.

With Epiroc Days, the company brought its vision ‘Dare to think new,’ to life. The event was a resounding success, earning enthusiastic feedback from participants both during and after the experience.
